Our rural cottages are set in the heart of the highlands in the Region of Murcia, just 3 kilometres from Caravaca de la Cruz. They are located in the fruit belt of Caravaca, surrounded by nature and a calm environment.

Caravaca de la Cruz

Caravaca de la Cruz is place which is well worth visiting. There are several landscapes and monuments which are really beautiful and amazing, highlighting the sanctuary-fortress where the legendary and the Most Holy Cross, or the church of “El Salvador” where the Baroque altarpiece stands out. Moreover, the historical urban area of the town and its medieval quarter are some other places to walk around.

The municipality of Caravaca is traversed from west to east by the rivers Argos and Quípar, they arise to the shelter of the massif of Revolcadores, the highest peak of the Region of Murcia.

Quite near of the holy town of Caravaca, there is a beautiful and historical natural park in the Fuentes del Marqués, where the most gorgeous and important fountainheads in the whole southeast of Spain can be found. Additionally, at this place there is a great representation of the Mediterranean flora, the centenarian oak trees being just an example of it.

Other natural areas of Caravaca that should be emphasized are the followings: Mojantes Mountains, where the ‘owner’ is the griffon vulture; the Cuerda de la Serreta and the Gavilán Mountains where pine wood and the holm oak and communities of savin.
